images are negative after importing
I'm using version 5.0.36 for the iPad 2
After I've imported a comic to comiczeal, all the images are
negative.
The images are normal when I read them on my computer.
The comic is in the .cbr format
How can I fix this?

Hi, sorry for the delay in responding, does this happen for all your comics?

it only happens to some comics. Don't know why...

How are you importing the comics into CZ?

I'm importing .cbr comics into the 'ComicZeal Sync' program on the PC (windows 7) and then I transfer the comics through the program to the iPad by WiFi.

Please don't use CZ Sync.

Can you please attach one of the files here?

Hi, sure I can. Sorry about the delay.

Oh, by the way. This particular image is from a compressd .zip file. I have plenty of others in this format that show up just fine although I have had the same problem with some comics even in .cbr

How do I import the comics from my laptop to my iPad without using CZ Sync? :S

Hello, again. As I am still waiting for your reply, I have decided to take the opportunity of attaching a partial zip file of another comic book which has turned out negative (unlike the previously attached snapshot image). OK, so these are all regular JPGs compressed in zip format. They look fine on my computer screen but once they have been compressed and synched over to my Ipad2 using Itunes, it opens up in ComicZeal as negative like the examples already presented earlier in this thread. Thanks for your time, looking forward to your response. JS

Imagiver, use iTunes file sharing.
JimmyScream, I'm downloading the file right now and will have a look, sorry for the delay.

Hi JimmyScream, I've tried the file above and I got black text/graphics on a white background which seems right. What version of CZ are you using? how about iOS?

Imagiver, here is a link with instructions on using iTunes file sharing:

Hi emolina,
Thanks for the reply. I am using Mac OS 10.5.8 and CZ version 4
Support Staff 18 Posted by emolina on 29 Feb, 2012 03:01 AM
Jimmy, please use CZ version 5.

Sure, but the user who started this thread was already using CZ5 and had the same problem.
Also, do I have to buy the app or is there a free/reduced cost upgrade from V4 to V5?
Support Staff 20 Posted by emolina on 01 Mar, 2012 11:32 PM
The person who started this thread was using CZ Sync, that was his problem.
CZ 5 is a free upgrade.
